Pro-DTX Press Conference Invitation

Pro-DTX Press Conference:

                        Date: Wednesday June 24th
                        Time:  11:00 a.m.
                        Place: SF City Hall steps

Extending Caltrain from its current terminal at 4th and King Streets to the new Transbay Transit Center in downtown San Francisco will take tens of thousands of cars off West Bay streets and highways.  This makes the DTX project the most significant transit improvement to come along since the original BART program.  Despite this, funding for the project remains up in the air - even as the Mayor studies new, multi-billion dollar plans to reroute Caltrain through Mission Bay.

To remind politicians and transportation officials of the urgent need to extend Caltrain without further delay, a coalition of Bay Area transportation leaders and advocates are co-sponsoring the pro-DTX press conference which will take place on the steps of San Francisco's City Hall on Wednesday, June 24th, beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Please come and lend your support!
